Product Details:
CowParade is the largest and most successful public art event in the world. Since 1998, CowParade events have been staged in over 50 cities worldwide including Zurich (1998, first event), New York City (2000), London (2002) and Tokyo (2003).
Over 5,000 artists worldwide have participated in CowParade - professional and amateur, famous and emerging, young and old.

The original Heartstanding Cow (aka "Elsie") is covered in 701 hearts and this replica has as many overlapping hearts as she can handle. The life-size cow sold at auction for $5,500 benefitting the NC Children's Hospital.

The artist, Miller, graduated from Duke University with a dual degree in Studio Art and Psychology. He has exhibited throughout the United States in more than 100 one-man shows and in 45 juried competitions. His creations are found in prominent art collections, on television and on the covers of national publications.

In many of his works, Heartstanding Cow included, Miller uses hearts, symbols of connection. “I put hearts in my paintings to bring the viewer in for a closer look. Hearts help us to share the feelings of love and hope that connect us all,” says Miller.
